Yes. Puppies receive veterinary examinations and age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. We provide documentation for their veterinary care and health records.

Our puppies are introduced to a wide variety of experiences during their early development, including people, handling, household environments, sounds, and age-appropriate enrichment. We place a strong emphasis on building confident, well-adjusted puppies.

Puppies typically go to their new homes around 8–10 weeks of age, depending on their development and readiness.

Absolutely. While we are based near Vancouver, many of our puppies join families throughout British Columbia and across Canada.

For families who are unable to travel to us, we can help arrange safe transportation options. We have experience shipping puppies through WestJet and other reputable airlines, allowing our puppies to safely reach their new homes across the country.

Shiba Inus can be wonderful family dogs when properly trained and socialized. They are loyal, intelligent, and clean dogs, but they also have a strong independent streak. Shibas generally do best with families who understand the breed and are committed to consistent training and structure.

Shibas are highly intelligent, but they are also known for being independent and strong-willed. They respond best to patient, consistent, positive training methods rather than harsh correction. Early socialization and obedience training are extremely important.

In most cases, Shiba Inus should not be trusted fully off leash in unsecured areas. They have a naturally strong prey drive and independent instincts, which can make recall unreliable even with training.

Well-socialized Shibas can do very well with respectful children. As with any breed, interactions between dogs and young children should always be supervised.
